About the route
Starting at Pikhtovy Shelter, the route crosses Bear Gate and Bzerpi Cornice, then follows the official trail across Pseashkha Pass and down toward Kholodny Camp in the Urushten valley. It is a remote point-to-point line inside the Caucasus Nature Reserve; a full return normally requires the same trail and is often planned with an overnight stay.
