About the route
The classic Mount Fisht ascent begins at Fisht Shelter and climbs toward the Bolshoy Fisht Glacier before entering more technical rock-and-snow terrain and the summit ridge. The return follows the same line. This is a technical ascent where crampons, an ice axe, helmet and appropriate snow-and-ice skills are essential.
